College Student Shot While Trying to Sell Hoverboards in Harlem

A college student trying to sell a few hoverboards, ended up getting shot and ripped off in Harlem.

The 22-year-old student and a friend, placed a Craigslist ad to sell five hoverboards for $1,500. They found a “buyer,” who met them at a W. 138th St. building. The men flashed $500 and said they wanted to test-drive the boards.
They took off, but came back and shot the seller.  The victim sustained a shot to the stomach and leg, but will be okay. 
Cops charged Raheem Adamson, 30, with robbery and the gunman is still at large.
