Blues legend B.B. King, at the age of 89, was still going strong until Friday October 3rd.

"Mr. King fell ill during his performance at the House of Blues in Chicago," according to his website.  "He was evaluated by a doctor and diagnosed with dehydration and suffering from exhaustion, whereby causing the eight remaining shows of his current tour to be cancelled."

King has worked with many artists over the years including Joe Cocker, U2, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, David Gilmour, and many, many more...

King will miss one big show -- at his own, B.B. King Blues Club in Times Square, which was scheduled for October 12th and 13th.
