Mistrial Ruled in Plot to Kill 50 Cent: James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond

According to The Associated Press, U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon declared a mistrial for the conspiracy to commit murder charges, Friday in Manhattan federal court after the jury said it was deadlocked.
If you remember back in 2009, Rosemond and Johnson allegedly orchestrated a plan to murder 50 Cent and G-Unit affiliate, Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher.  The hit stemmed from a beef in the streets between the two camps and Fletcher allegedly "put his hands" on Henchman’s teenage son.
The trial included many witnesses, including many of Rosemond's former associates and colleagues who testified against him.  Many of the people who testified were already locked up or have cases pending and were due to receive leniency for cooperating.  This was part of the reason for the mistrial. Their testimony appeared to be questionable or coerced.
Rosemond is currently serving a life sentence for unrelated drug smuggling charges and Johnson was found guilty this week for conspiracy to distribute narcotics, weapons possession related to drug trafficking, and felony firearm possession.  Rosemond was convicted last October of shipping cocaine in music equipment cases between New York and Los Angeles.
Prosecutors said they’re considering a retrial.
