Former G-Unit Affiliate, Mazaradi Fox, Shot and Killed in Queens

Emcee, Mazaradi Fox, affiliated with 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records, was shot and killed in Queens, New York yesterday.
According to the NY Daily News, the shooting took place shortly after 4:00 pm. Fox, who was never officially signed to the label, was pronounced dead on the scene. Three other victims, one of which was Fox's daughter who suffered a graze wound to the neck, were treated at area hospitals.  
Reports say the shooter was wearing a ski mask and fired shots into a white SUV that the victims were inside of. The incident took place on the corners of Famers Blvd. and 133rd Ave in the St. Albans in Queens. The gunman fled in what was reported to be a  dark Hyundai sedan.
Mazaradi Fox (Jamal Green), 42, was released from prison two weeks prior.  The NY Daily News also reports Fox was convicted of attempted murder in '98. released a statement regarding the death of Fox. “We’re sorry to hear about the tragic news,” the statement says. “Our sympathy goes out to his family and friends. Despite reports, he was never on the G-Unit record label,” says a representative for G-Unit.
“50 Cent was in his New York studio and was saddened when he heard the news. He sends his condolences to Mazaradi’s family,” a representative for 50 Cent said.
